IGN's Matt Casamassina takes a detailed look at Nintendo's next-gen console, the Wii. He runs through all the buttons, plugs, and slots to be had on the Wii, the Wiimote, and the Nunchaku units.

The console and game-making giant is taking on a Web 2.0 glow by allowing gamers to create characters and mess around with content.
Wielding a wand-like remote controller, Nintendo exec Bill Trinen created a digital likeness of the actor Samuel L. Jackson. Within minutes, he had given the on-screen character a droopy mustache and black clothes and added "Sam" to his growing virtual family. In a move that breaks from the tradition, the Wii box-art features no Nintendo logo anywhere on the front. Usually, games featured on Nintendo systems have ‘Licensed by Nintendo’ emblazoned somewhere upon their front cover. It’s also interesting to note that the Wii isn’t being referred to as the ‘Nintendo Wii’ – again, a change from the norm.
