In a podcast that's supposed to wrap up TGS 2006, the folks of GamesRadar have proudly declared that the PSP has failed. They state that nothing really notable was shown for the PSP during TGS2006 except Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, compared to four to five DS games that were featured at TGS 2006. The guys over at PSM got a major shock from Sony just there on Friday. Sony popped in to there office and handed them over a fully functional PS3.

Sony is ramping up their hands-on PS3 promotion with a new kiosk at Bic Camera in Kawasaki. Unfortunately the unit only plays video for now.
"No word on whether any Bic Camera employees were crushed during the kiosks landing."

Sony president Ken Kutaragi has strongly refuted the idea that competitors Xbox 360 and Wii will outsell PS3.
When asked whether the rival consoles will outstrip Sony’s next-gen machine, he replied simply: “We do not care.”
But he conceded that Sony is still struggling with the production of PS3’s Blu-Ray drive: “Right now, it is an issue, because we can’t manufacture enough blue laser diodes for our PlayStation 3s. But we will resolve that.”

"In the US, we're comfortable with the pricing that we announced at E3--$499 for the 20 gigabyte version and $599 for the 60-gigabyte version," Sony Computer president Kaz Hirai told GameSpot. The focus of the three-day show is PlayStation 3 from Sony Computer Entertainment Inc., which announced earlier this month that its Europe launch would be delayed until March. PS3 will go on sale on Nov. 11 in Japan and Nov. 17 in the United States.
