Although the controversial ad was never released in the U.S., the Internet has enabled people around the world to view (and possibly be offended by) the PSP campaign. Sony has decided to pull the ad and has apologized.

Sony has borrowed 80 billion yen (about $700 million) to "diversify funding sources". The corporation has not borrowed this much money from a bank in over ten years. Combine this with the fact that Sony stands to lose hundreds for every PS3 sold, and you have quite a volatile equation.

Sony's CEO must be scared, he is out flapping his jaw about how PS3 is Future Proof and saying Xbox 360 is merely a "transitional product" I have a feeling they are scared that "transitional product" is going to wipe the floors with them.
