PS3 firmware update fixes PS2 backwards compatibility
It looks like many of the issues with PS2 games are fixed, and that's great news to people who want to get rid of their old systems when they move to a PS3. Final Fantasy X-2 looks great, no jaggies or artifacts. Resident Evil 4 looks just as good as I remember. This is a big deal, and a large problem with the PS3 has disappeared.
The Playstation Store seems to be more responsive, it doesn't feel as sluggish as I move from item to item; pages also seem to load faster. It makes the process a lot zippier.
