Gamers divided on whether Valve's taken the right approach with mixing up the visuals for Team Fortress 2, ditching the realistic military style last seen, should understand what all the positive fuss is about when they check out the short trailer they've packaged for the online multiplayer shooter.
The Pixar comparisons to The Incredibles are spot-on; the animation and stylization is like nothing else the genre's seen before.
All the footage shown in this trailer was created using Source. Some of the effects, namely depth of field and motion blur, were applied via post-processing features built into the Source engine technology.
