Japanese Wii sales numbers released
Wii made its long-awaited debut in Japan over the weekend, and to a very enthusiastic reception. Nintendo promised it'd deliver 400,000 units to its homeland, and in the period up until December 3rd, 350,358 consoles were reportedly sold.
Wii Sports, which isn't bundled free in Japan, was the best-selling game, even topping Zelda.
